Jardót Ceramics
Passion Project, Art & Illustration, Photography, Branding
Jardót Ceramics was born from a lifelong connection to creativity—one that began in my childhood, growing up in a pottery shop. I was mesmerised by the way glaze absorbed into bisque, and how the kiln transformed raw earth into something permanent.
Years later, during Covid-19, I assisted in running The Makers Guild's ceramic studio, where I found mentorship, encouragement, and the push I needed to fully embrace ceramics as my craft.
Jardót is a reflection of that journey—an exploration of earth-inspired, hand-built pottery that embodies the connection, fragility, and tranquillity of nature. Each piece carries the imprint of my hands, celebrating the imperfections and organic beauty that mass production leaves behind. Sustainability is at the heart of my practice, as I strive to create mindful, well-crafted objects that enrich daily rituals.
Jardót is a story of returning to my roots, of learning, growing, and shaping the world—one piece of clay at a time.
At the start of 2021 I decided to explore the art of ceramics and founded Jardót Ceramics, having always been interested by the processes, alchemy and possibilities! I learnt how to use kilns & ceramic equipment, various pottery production techniques, and enjoyed the process of developing a covid-19 business (This then led me on to study ceramics at university!)
